Well Chilli Penguin stoves have a solution in the form of the Chilli Billie which has a ‘heat shield enclosure’. The unit can be fitted in the corner of the room and the enclosure protects the walls of the building from the heat as well as acting as a hearth. Fitted with a twin wall insulated flue it ensures your timber building is safe.
The Chilli Billie is top leading with a round glass window to see the flames within and you can boil a kettle on the top surface of the stove. The kw output is 2.5-3. There is also an optional side shelf which is useful for putting your kettle on to keep it warm.
