Ecofans are used to circulate warm air throughout the room to increase your comfort and reduce fuel usage. These fans are designed to sit on top of your stove and create their own electricity without using any household energy or batteries. How Ecofans Work
Ecofans use thermoelectric technology to convert a temperature difference into electricity. At the centre of an Ecofan is a unique thermoelectric module. The patented Ecofan design creates a hot side and a cold side on the module and when this happens a principle called the “Seebeck effect” cause electrons to flow within the module and electricity is generated to operate the fan. An Ecofan 810 moves 125 (CFM) cubic feet per minute.
Does an Ecofan Work?
We’ve been selling Ecofans for 6 years and have received only positive feedback and stories from our customers who have used them.
